First prizes in clarinet and chamber music at the National Conservatory of Paris. Prize-winner at the international competitions of Munich (second prize), Viotti (second prize), Geneva and Prague (first prize and special award). Principal clarinet of the Paris Opera Orchestra. Teaches at the Versailles Conservatory. In the year 2000 was principal clarinet of the Berlin Philharmonic  (conducted by Claudio Abbado) on tour in South America.
